Long-Flight Essentials (1)

A new school year is just around the corner and it's about time we get organized. In this post, you will learn how to get organized for the new semester in five easy steps!

So without further ado, let's get into it.

Step #1: Clean/Sort Out/ Throw Away OLD STUFF

New beginnings, so it's important to get rid of the old stuff, using the diagram below check your school stuff and throw away what you don't need! Which is probably more than you think.

Have I use it in the past year_

Step #2: Organize the things you have

Once that you eliminate the things that you don't need, let's take a look to the ones you do, and classify them in categories that can be the following:

  • Subject
  • Semester
  • Bimester
  • Week
  • Topic

Step #3: Buy new things (Textbooks, stationary, etc.)

The best part: Back-to-School shopping, I love to do this but it's important to follow the order of the steps you don't want to end up buying something you already have.

Step #4: Make a plan & stick to it.

Take a look to the past, see what things have worked out and which ones haven't. The strategies that do, write them down along with the new deadlines you are going to have, the old routines that don't help you anymore, just say bye to them.

Once you have your plan, stick to it. Consistency is the key of success

Step #5: Relax and enjoy the time you have left

If you still have time left of the school break, don't stress with the school that hasn't even started instead use the time you have to sleep, go out and just relax, you will not have that time later on.

Well that was everything for today's first college/school related post, if there is an specific topic you would like to hear about, please feel free to comment down below and I will make sure to discuss it.
